Beautiful French Clichy glass draped style pendant light from 1930s discovered in northern France.
Produced prominently during the Art Deco period in France, matching an era when residential electric lighting required soft, decorative glass shades to diffuse glaring incandescent bulbs.
This type of glass has a nice mottled look.
This light is light blue with new wiring and light fitting.
A few little chips around the gallery fitting and one small chip on bottom of fluted edge but otherwise in good condition for its age.
Elevate your space with authentic vintage French style and elegance from ruebasselights.
